Maria Luisa Cacurri graduated in Architecture from the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria in April 2020.
After a short internship at a professional firm, she has been collaborating with the DICEAM department of the Mediterranean University since September 2023 through scholarships.

Her research revolves around themes related to the concept of floating cities, which not only offer a potential solution to environmental issues linked to climate change but also provide an opportunity to revolutionize the concept of living. Thanks to the multidisciplinary nature of the topic, she engages with and interacts with various disciplines such as architecture and engineering, as well as the environment and its sustainability, focusing on the graphic, technical and social aspects of the topic.
