TEN-T project for the pilot technology REWEC3 in Civitavecchia – 2013-IT-92050-S

“Study for the development of the green mobility in the port of Civitavecchia through the implementation of the pilot technology REWEC3 – 2013-IT-92050-S” financed by the EU’s TEN-T Programme.

Partners:Port Authority of Civitavecchia, NOEL of the Università Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria.

The main objective of the project is to produce a feasibility study for the reduction of the CO2 emissions associated with the mobility within the Port of Civitavecchia. In this context, one of the 17 REWEC3 caissons built in the Port of Civitavecchia has been equipped with one classical Wells turbine for producing electricity with the purpose of covering the mobility needs of the Port.
